Golfing the Maritimes

Royal Oaks is an 18-hole par 72 links style layout measuring 7,103 yards in length from the championship tees. The course features bent grass fairways, tees and greens, strategic bunkering, challenging approaches, and an award winning practice & teaching facility all complemented by turf conditions which rival the best in the world.

Included activity: Hopewell Rocks
Stop for a walk on the ocean floor at Hopewell Cape (depending on tides) and view the famous “Flower Pot Rocks” sculpted by the mighty Fundy Tides, one of the wonders of the world.

Today take the Confederation Bridge crossing to Canada’s smallest province, Prince Edward Island. Lighthouse lovers will delight in the four lighthouses that are open to the public in summer. Point Prim Lighthouse - the Island’s oldest lighthouse, Wood Islands Lighthouse - located just beyond the ferry terminal, Cape Bear Lighthouse - said to be the first Canadian land station to receive the distress signals from the Titanic, and Panmure Island Lighthouse - PEI’s oldest wooden lighthouse. The Rodd Brudenell River Resort proves to be a good halfway point for those touring the Points East Coastal Drive, but for golfers this site is an absolute must-stop. Two top-of-the-line 18-hole courses are the main features of a resort complex that includes cabins, hotel and executive-style cottages, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, horseback riding, spa services and even lawn bowling!

Dundarave 18-hole championship golf course designed by award winning architects Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry opened in July of 1999. The course offers an appealing blend of traditional and contemporary architectural designs with some of the most memorable bunkering patterns. Expansive fairways lined with luscious pines and the tranquil Brudenell River meander through some of the most stunning beauty that PEI has to offer.

Today you will travel a very short distance to reach Charlottetown.

Included Activity: The City Highlights – Charlottetown 1-hr City Tour
This tour takes you through historic areas of the city, waterfront, residential areas and more. Enjoy fun and informative commentary of our local guides and take in the City Highlights Tour. Discover the history and charm of Canada’s Birthplace, as you ride through the streets of Charlottetown. Drive past Province House, Beaconsfield, Historic Great George Street, Charlottetown Driving Park, The Lieutenant Governor’s House, Victoria Park, University of Prince Edward Island and residential areas!

At the Rodd Mill River Resort, just 37 kms West of Summerside, this mature forest course is the discerning golfer’s dream with 18 totally different memories for both the high and low handicap player. Wide rolling fairways, well bunkered greens, subtle elevation changes and numerous lakes and streams make each hole a new challenge and a pleasure to play.

Today you may have one last round of golf before you depart for the Airport. PEI Ocean View Resort & Golf is situated one kilometer west of Summerside, just 20 minutes from the Confederation Bridge, it overlooks the Summerside Harbour. The eighteenth hole is one of the most challenging finishing holes on PEI, one of the eight water holes located on the course.
